HYDRA-SET™ HYDRO-MECHANICAL BRIDGE PLUG

OSP’s API 11D1/ISO 14310 BarrierPro™ Hydra-Set™ Bridge Plug (HMBP) is a versatile hydraulic/mechanical set bridge plug, allowing the equipment to be utilized for high-pressure/high-temperature well environments, single-trip negative tests applications, single-trip permanent & temporary abandonment/cementing operations, and more.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• No setting tool required – setting mechanism for the HMBP is built-in to the assembly with the ability to circulate prior to setting eliminating the need of added cost for rental setting tools

• Cement placement with Slim Tool OD – versus pulling through cement plugs with large setting tools, the HMBP’s slim tubing stinger design ensures cement does not become contaminated or disturbed while removing the string from the plug

• Full-bore Stinger ID – allows for increased flow rates during cement placement

• Improved material performance – eliminates the difficulties commonly associated with qualified short to long-term barriers

• Increased temperature ratings – capable of sustaining high temperature and corrosive environments with optional elastomer systems (up to 400°F)

• Unique elastomer and backup system – prevents costly and time consuming remedial operations by increasing pressure capabilities up to 10,000 psi (API 11D1)

• Drillable cleanout BHA compatible – Brushes and Scrapers can be easily installed using a universal threaded adapter
