DPC™ Pipe Circulating & Flow-Back Equipment

Dpc™ Drill Pipe Circulating & Flow-Back System

The DPC™ System provides superior fluid management performance in onshore and offshore casing/liner running applications where extensive surge reduction, flow-back and circulating capabilities are required. The unique design is secured to the bails and makes up directly to the drill pipe via a patented, rotary shoulder-based connector. This proprietary combination allows for pressures up to 10,000 psi to be applied to the work string, improves the speed of connection make-up and break-out and provides the ability to connect the top drive directly to the work string at any time. At Oilfield Service Professionals (OSP), we provide high-quality flow-back equipment and the DPC™ System to oilfields throughout Houston, Midland, TX; Northern Louisiana, and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

APPLICATIONS

  • Surge Reduction – reducing surge pressures on the formation while running casing/liner while auto-filling
  • Flow-Back – safely and efficiently diverting and capturing wellbore fluids at the surface while landing tight-tolerance casing/liner strings
  • Circulating & Conditioning – on-demand ability to keep wellbore fluids moving and or/conditioned while tripping in or pumping out of hole
  • Casing/Liner Expansion – allows for high-pressure initiation and continuous pressure application during casing/liner expansion operations

FEATURES, ADVANTAGES & BENEFITS

  • Provides superior speed and safety performance compared to modular, swab cup-based flow-back tool designs
  • Surge reduction capability eliminates the need for downhole diverter tools; reduces risks associated with fluid communication to the annulus
  • Patented, rotary shoulder-based connection allows for immediately circulation with a 10,000-psi pressure rating
  • Bail-based design provides ability to quickly connect top drive directly to the work string without rigging down tool
  • Can be installed on left or right-side bail, depending on rig preference
  • High-speed pneumatic motor makes-up pressure tight connection in less than 10 seconds
  • Remote pneumatic control panel allows tool to be connected or disconnected from string at any position while RIH or POOH
  • Two-way check valve for circulating and flow-back functions
  • Mud Splash Shield contains wellbore fluids during break-out
  • Ease and speed in changing out crossovers to accommodate multiple drill pipe connections
